About The Safety Process
The Safety Process is a Work Health and Safety consultancy service, assisting clients in all areas of WHS including; occupational hygiene, occupational health, process safety management and hazardous chemical management. The Safety Process also supplies services in the areas of ergonomics and work health and safety system development and provides both face to face and online training options in all areas of our expertise. Clients should note that our award winning training is able to be customized to individual corporate requirements (please see our full range of services on our services page).
The Safety Process assists clients across Australia and the Asia Pacific region, primarily through our industrial disease and accident prevention consultant Mr.David Chambers and other partners within our network.
Principal Consultant David Chambers
David is an Environmental, Health and Safety professional with over 20 years experience. He has Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management.
David is a Certified Industrial Hygienist with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and a Full Member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene, as well as being the Chair of its Ethics Committee. David is also a licensed asbestos assessor and has experience with monitoring and controlling exposure to respirable crystalline silica and mould in the workplace.
David has an in depth knowledge of hazardous chemical management in the working environment and has been retained as a expert in a number of litigation claims. David has a high level of experience working in highly regulated and GMP environments including those for food production and the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.
Over his career David has worked in EHS roles in projects totaling over $0.5 billion dollars and has facilitated or participated in over 100 PHA studies.
David has conducted and led many successful corporate and system based audits at sites in international locations across Europe, Asia, India and USA and is well experienced with certification systems such as ISO14001 and ISO45001.
The Safety Process works with a carefully selected list of partners who are expert in their field. We have the ability to access all areas of required skills and knowledge with regard to the work and projects to which we are assigned. Examples of specialist areas in which we work include occupational medicine and occupational diving.
The Safety Process continues to support a number of industries in various sectors including; timber production, aquaculture, construction, civil works, mining, healthcare, event management, social support services, local council, food production and manufacturing.
